- ➤ Missouri's minimum wage will rise from $13.75 to $15 an hour on Jan. 1. Proposition A, approved by 58% of voters in Nov. 2024, marks the state's second raise + a follow-up to the earlier boost from $12.30 to $13.75. KQ2

- ➤ Seven candidates filed Tuesday evening to seek two open St. Joseph School District board seats for next April's election after meeting strict residency, tax, and age requirements + other local rules. - ➤ The Missouri State Highway Patrol in St. Joseph urges residents to drive safely during New Year’s celebrations starting today at 6 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. Jan. 1, advising designated drivers, seatbelt use, and careful route planning (using the MoDOT Traveler Information Map) amid ongoing road construction.
