- ➤ The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce celebrated wins this year by supporting local business growth, inspiring a housing study that led to a planned 178-unit project for middle-class housing next year, and soft-launching a coworking space called the Launch Pad funded by a tech grant. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents dropping off live Christmas trees can bring them to the Drake Softball Complex (22nd Street and Southwest Parkway) from Friday, Dec. 26 to Saturday, Jan. 31; the City will mulch trees after all ornaments, tinsel, and stands are removed. KQ2

- ➤ Family-friendly Mid-States Wrestling hosts its third annual Christmas Bash today at 7 p.m. at the National Guard Armory (301 N. Woodbine Road) where hometown hero Scott Hansen and other local wrestlers will defend titles and entertain fans. KQ2
