- ➤ Yesterday, the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce launched the 19th annual Shop St. Joseph Holiday Program to encourage residents to shop local. Shoppers may collect tickets from November 12 to December 15 for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize, $2,500 for shopping at small businesses, or other second-chance prizes—details are available from participating merchants. - ➤ The Missouri Department of Mental Health reported that 47.8% of nearly 74,000 Missourians getting treatment were men during Men's Health Awareness Month, and expert Patrick Trapp said many men hide their feelings even when struggling.
