ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A 19-year-old man from Minnesota was injured when his 2001 Dodge Truck hit traffic cones and rolled onto its top in a construction zone north of Amazonia in Andrew County just after 11:30 p.m. Monday—he was taken to Mosaic Life Care.  St. Joseph Post

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • St. Joseph Police now use the Shield Check program to place door hangers on local businesses after safety checks—each hanger lists the officer’s name, date and time—and offers a contact for additional safety assessments.  St. Joseph Post
  • St. Joseph City Council passed a resolution to negotiate the FBO lease at Rosecrans Memorial Airport with Pan Am Flight Services after withdrawing Apex Aero from the process. Council member Kenton Randolph — who sponsored the measure — said the move will boost local investment as business investor Steven Craig plans facility improvements to attract high-value aircraft.  KQ2
