- ➤ CR&R hosted its annual Twilight Prom at the Knights of Columbus building, offering dancing, food, donated formalwear and a special visit from KC Wolf for individuals with special needs. Mary Jane Caples said the event filled everyone's hearts with joy — the prom will return next year with the same inclusive guidelines. KQ2
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Four people were injured in an accident just before 5 p.m. Friday on Route O near County Road 290 west of Cosby when an 18-year-old driver lost control of a 2007 Ram 1500—two of the injured were teens from St. Joe. St. Joseph Post
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ MoWest students returning on Monday will see a transformed library as funds from ARPA and raised contributions were used to renovate the first floor and convert old offices into study areas. Director Sally Gibson said the new design features a 24-hour study area—technology-supported seating and flexible spaces—that will be ready for fall classes starting Monday, August 25. KQ2
