A Missouri teen was injured after a pickup driven by a 74-year-old man struck his horse and buggy just after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday on MO 190 two miles south of Jamesport (the driver was not wearing a seat belt) and Daviess County EMS transported the teen to Children's Mercy.

A St. Joseph man has been charged with one felony count for Unlawful Use of a Weapon after he fired his gun from his vehicle during an August 19 incident over a vehicle dispute tied to a romantic relationship, and he fled from responding officers before being taken into custody at Buchanan County Jail — he has been denied bond.
