Missouri health officials and national drug researcher Dr. Alex Krotulski say a new opioid called Cychlorphine—10 times more potent than fentanyl—is linked to 140 deaths nationally, though naloxone remains effective in reversing overdoses.
Residents are advised as fentanyl continues to be the top concern locally.
