- ➤ The Buchanan County Fairgrounds Board purchased the Easton school building and grounds from the East Buchanan School District for $250,000 to create a county fairgrounds. The board will next secure a contractor to build an arena—measuring 250 x 160 with proper lighting—to host events like FFA, 4-H and rodeo, with excavation work possibly starting next month.
