  • Today, Second Harvest Community Food Bank kicked off No Hunger Summer, a program that gives free weekday meals to children who rely on school lunches in St. Joseph. The nonprofit, which fed more than 50,000 kids last year (and provides for over 11,000 children every year in Buchanan County), depends on state funding and community donations.  KQ2
  • St. Joseph residents rode free on St. Joe Transit on Thursday for Dump the Pump Day—its 19th annual run gave riders, including longtime user Ken McDonald, a chance to access school, work, and sports efficiently.  KQ2

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • The St. Joseph Fire Department responded early Thursday morning at a vacant apartment building on the 1600 block of Buchanan Avenue—crews put out the fire without injuries and the cause is yet to be determined.  KQ2
