CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ HawkFest returns on June 12th at a new location outside the park due to renovations at Coleman Hawkins Park. The one-night Blues and Jazz concert begins at 5:00 p.m. at 7th & Felix Streets and features local school groups. St. Joseph Post
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At a special Board of Education meeting Tuesday, the school board approved a financial report showing a move toward a balanced budget after years of deficits (with staff savings now over $6 million). The report will guide next year's budget planning as the district reorganizes its high school model. St. Joseph Post
