- ➤ The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph announced its Annual Art Fair for Saturday, June 7 at 2818 Frederick Avenue — the free event will feature local artists, live music, food stands, and craft activities from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. KQ2

- ➤ Mayor Josendale delivered his 2025 State of the City address on Wednesday to update residents on new investments in parks and infrastructure. He highlighted a $12 million upgrade at Krug Park—390 projects with $1.5 million in improvements and noted that the Kansas City Chiefs will return for training camp later this year. KQ2
- ➤ Today, the southbound off ramp from Interstate 229 to Atchison and 6th Streets is closed due to a watermain break; crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation & Missouri American Water are working to repair the break and expect to reopen the ramp by Friday evening while drivers can still use it to access U.S. Route 59. - ➤ The St. Joseph City Council finished its budget talks Tuesday afternoon reviewing proposals for Public Works and Transportation with no major changes from last year and a planned 3% salary increase for all staff — labor negotiations for some employees continue. KQ2
- ➤ The Buchanan County Route DD bridge over Jenkins Creek reopened Tuesday after a deck replacement project ended its closure since March 3. The Missouri Department of Transportation is also working on two additional bridges (Upper Neely Bridge on Andrew County Route B and Lincoln Creek Bridge on Andrew County Route H) as part of a project scheduled to complete by December. - ➤ St. Joseph City Council approved moving the Chief White Cloud statue and tepee after choosing a new site at 303 East Hyde Park Avenue for Fire Station #10 on Monday—city officials will soon meet tribal leaders to ensure the relocation meets their expectations. KQ2
- ➤ St. Joseph Mayor John Josendale delivered his state of the city address today at the Chamber of Commerce Public Affairs Coffee at InspireU Children's Discovery Center, urging residents to share ideas on future projects like a new city market and park improvements while keeping fiscal responsibility in mind.
