- ➤ The annual Pony Express Re-Ride will start at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15 at the Patee House Museum and continue in a relay until reaching Sacramento on Thursday, June 25. Volunteers organize the event to honor national history with commemorative mail pouches carried along the historic route. St. Joseph Post
- ➤ St. Joseph Performing Arts Association announced its 2026-27 season for this fall with seven shows and two special performances. Ticket packages are on sale until May 25 (including a concert by 19-year-old American Idol runner up John Foster on August 8 at the Missouri Theatre). St. Joseph Post
