- ➤ St. Joseph Animal Control and the Friends of the Animal Shelter will host vaccine clinics on May 13 at Skaith Elementary School at 4701 Schoolside Lane and on May 15 at Mark Twain Elementary School at 801 South 31st Street—animal owners can receive rabies vaccines for $5, microchips and combo vaccines for $10, and registration tags for $10 for spayed and neutered pets or $25 for unaltered pets. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ At 11:20 P.M. on Saturday, May 10th, Trenton officers responded to reports on Ellison Street and found 46-year-old David Willey with a gunshot wound who later died at the hospital, while the suspect (45-year-old Chad Kelly from Excelsior Springs) sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was stopped in Clark County, Iowa at 1:10 A.M.
