Lanham Music will host Rock Camp from June 16 to 21 for young musicians in St. Joseph; the camp will let participants join bands, learn songs, and record music with a professional producer.

At Monday’s City Council work session, council members discussed acquiring land to move the bus transfer station from the Hy-Vee parking lot to a site near East Hills Shopping Center and East Hills Library — City Manager Mike Schumacher said attorneys are handling negotiations and the public will learn more once the land is secured.

The St. Joseph City Council held its second budget work session on Tuesday to review the Fiscal Year 2026 budget, focusing on operational expenses such as maintaining parks, upgrading technology & security, and centralizing procurement that saved 20% in the technology division.
