Maurice's announced it will leave East Hills Mall after 35 years to move to the former Kirkland’s in The Shoppes at North Village later this summer — shoppers are encouraged to check its Facebook page for updates.

At the school board meeting on Monday night, the board inducted two newly elected members, Cassandra Veale and Jacob McMillian, and elected Ronda Chesney as president and McMillian as vice president.

The next meeting is set for April 27.
