- ➤ Rolling Hills Library will open its new Riverside Branch just south of Faraon on Riverside Road with a soft opening later this month and a grand opening on May 9. Library director states phone numbers remain unchanged and online resources are available during the move (patrons may borrow extra books). St. Joseph Post
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Miss Missouri Courtney Rowe, who works as an anchor and volunteer, was named the Grand Marshall for the Apple Blossom Festival. The parade will begin 9:30 a.m. May 2nd, running from Frederick and Noyes to Felix and 6th with entries due April 15th. St. Joseph Post
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Holy Rosary Credit Union is hosting a community outreach luncheon tomorrow at Room 108, 722 Felix Street to explore how mission-driven banking can boost economic opportunities for underserved individuals + small businesses. St. Joseph Post
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The City of St. Joseph announced the Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center will close for elevator repairs starting April 20 with work set to finish by May 18. The center will be closed (April 23 to May 9) and use adjusted parking near the main entrance when it reopens. St. Joseph Post
