Good morning, Saint Joseph. Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 13th of April.

  • Yesterday, Clair United Methodist Church held an open house to show its planned interior remodeling that began in fall 2023 with collected pledges; church board members said the updates will replace old flooring and open up spaces to be more inviting—while church leaders plan community events like a garden, garage sale and exercise class at 2 SE 68th Road for local members.  KQ2

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City of St. Joseph announced that five major intersections—Walmart Drive, 22nd Street and Frederick, St. Joseph Avenue/Middleton, St. Joseph Avenue/Grand Avenue, and Noyes/Frederick—will receive traffic signal upgrades in coming months. • A delegation from St. Joseph returned from Washington, D.C. after lobbying for new cargo planes for the Air National Guard 139th Airlift Wing to modernize our local base.
