- ➤ Missouri Western State University’s Social Work program and the Community Action Partnership of Greater St. Joseph will host a free poverty simulation event on Friday, Mar. 27 (9:00 a.m. to noon) at Blum Student Union’s Hoff Conference Rooms 218/219. Participants will simulate daily challenges and join a debrief session. St. Joseph Post
- ➤ Missouri Western hosted its Collegiate FBLA State Leadership Conference, where over 100 students competed and eight from Craig School of Business earned national conference bids to the Las Vegas event in June — officials are also recruiting new members for a meeting on Tuesday, April 14. - ➤ Today, the Benton Cardinals lost 54-52 to the Clayton Greyhounds in the MSHSAA Class 4 semifinal basketball game as Lincoln Goodwin scored 28 points & led his team in a close finish. The Cardinals will play Vashon for third place tomorrow at 10 a.m. St. Joseph Post
