- ➤ Friends of the St. Joseph Public Library will host a vintage book sale at the Downtown Library on Mar. 28 and 29 with books from $3; members preview the sale Saturday morning and the public may shop later Saturday and Sunday. St. Joseph Post

- ➤ Benton girls' basketball lost 52—42 to Doniphan after a late 10-point run by the Donettes, pushing the Cardinals into a third-place game scheduled at 10 a.m. tomorrow. St. Joseph Post
