  • Evergy narrowed its 2026 Hometown Grants finalists to 10 organizations, including St. Joseph Safety and Health Council whose program offers free home safety items to local households, and voters can like photos on Evergy’s Facebook page until March 25 at 5:00 p.m. Winners will be named March 31.  St. Joseph Post
  • St. Joseph Community Alliance is updating its Imagine 2040 plan by asking local residents to share feedback through a survey on its Facebook page; the survey is open until Mar. 25.  St. Joseph Post

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Saint Joseph Symphony will present 'Tour de France' featuring St. Joe native Anthony Glise at the Missouri Theatre on April 25, blending French classical music with a rock-influenced concerto. Tickets are available online + by phone during office hours.  St. Joseph Post

SPORTS NEWS

  • Benton High's boys and girls basketball teams are headed to the MSHSAA Class 4 Final Four in Columbia as they chase state titles. The girls face Doniphan at 10 a.m. tomorrow (championship game at 4 p.m.), and the boys take on Clayton in Friday's semifinals.  St. Joseph Post
