- ➤ A 48-year-old St. Joseph woman, Katherine Deweese, was found guilty of second-degree involuntary manslaughter after her distraction during an argument led her to drive the wrong way on an I-229 exit last May, causing a crash that killed 33-year-old Ryan Coffman, who later died in hospital — Buchanan County Judge Dan Kellogg reached the verdict after an eight-hour trial.
