- ➤ United Way of Greater St. Joseph invites local volunteers to assist in its allocations process, where participants will review applications from partner agencies like YWCA & Family Guidance Center; volunteers must commit 10-15 hours between April and May to help decide how funds will support community services. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ United Way of St. Joseph will host an Autism-Informed Teaching seminar for early childhood educators on Saturday, March 21 at Wyatt Park Christian Church Fellowship Hall at 8:00 a.m. The session, led by Cheryl Cotter and Cristen Sassi, costs $15 (doors open at 7:30 a.m.) St. Joseph Post
- ➤ North Central Missouri College celebrated its 40th National TRIO Day with a week-long series of events focused on academic and career growth; the events (held in Geyer Hall and local high schools) featured interactive displays, a pollinator seed pod project, and student panels on transitioning to college life. - ➤ MoWest and CAP St. Joe hosted a ribbon cutting at Wilson Hall Tuesday morning to celebrate the expansion of a Head Start program funded by over 630,000 in grants.
