COMMUNITY NEWS
- ➤ United Way is seeking volunteers to pack shelf stable meal kits for local agencies and join its Caring Connections Crew. Sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 11 at 1:30 p.m., March 14, and March 18 to assist during spring break. St. Joseph Post
- ➤ United Way of St. Joseph is recruiting community volunteers to review local partner agencies and recommend how donor dollars will be invested in 2027. The brief commitment lasts 10 to 15 hours over 5 to 6 meetings (held in April and May) and interested residents can contact Jodi Flurry for details. St. Joseph Post
- ➤ Local children will try hockey for free at Bode Ice Arena on Saturday, March 7 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.—kids ages 4 to 9 will learn the basics with trained coaches while needing to bring their own gloves and a bicycle helmet. St. Joseph Post

- ➤ Irish traditional band Téada is set to perform at The United on Sunday, Mar. 15 at 3:00 p.m. for a St. Patrick’s Day celebration—opening with a whiskey reception at 2:00 p.m. hosted by local ambassador Shane McDonald at 602 Felix St. St. Joseph Post
