ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Cameron officials reported no injuries after a large fire destroyed businesses and apartments downtown on Feb. 3, sparking a mutual aid response that included the St. Joseph Fire Department & six other regional units. Local businesses provided food & supplies to firefighters while officials investigate the cause. St. Joseph Post
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Helen Davis State School PTO will host its 15th Annual 5K Run, Walk and Roll with the Huskies at Phil Welch Stadium on Saturday, April 25 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Registration is $35 for in-person races and $25 for the virtual run, with fees rising after March 23. KQ2

- ➤ Missouri’s blood supply has dropped to 35% after winter storms canceled seven blood drives that usually bring in 15+ donors per event. The American Red Cross is urging local donors to visit alternate drives to help replace nearly 100 uncollected units. St. Joseph Post
