- ➤ The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art is hosting its 52nd annual membership exhibition featuring artwork by local creators. The free show opens Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and runs until Feb. 22. St. Joseph Post

- ➤ Missouri Rep. Brenda Shields from St. Joseph introduced House Bill 1757 to adjust the gifted student program by requiring every school district to screen children for giftedness before third grade using reliable testing starting in the 2026-27 school year. KQ2
- ➤ St. Joseph Museums and Missouri Western State University will host the 26th Super Science Saturday on Feb. 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Remington/Agenstein Hall, offering interactive STEM demos, including a Math Maze — admission is $5 for adults and students and free for children 5 and under.
